Architectural millwork is the woodwork that becomes part of the building itself — a paneled wall, a fireplace surround, a coffered ceiling, a run of crown that turns a plain room into a finished one. At Sunshine Alliance, we design, mill, finish, and install every piece from scratch in our Deerfield Beach facility, matched to your room and your existing trim. We are a manufacturer, not a dealer: profiles are cut to your detail, not pulled from a catalog.

Drawn, Engineered, and Built in One Place
Every project starts at the drawing board with a dedicated design consultation, then moves through our own engineering, milling, finishing, and installation without ever leaving the building. Because the same team carries it the whole way, what is drawn is what gets built — scribed to the wall, mitered tight, with profiles, reveals, and returns worked out before a single part is cut, not improvised on site.
That single chain of authorship is why a Sunshine Alliance installation holds its line, years after the job closes. There is no handoff between a mill and an installer who have never met, and no third party to point at if a joint opens up.

We produce the full range of architectural millwork: fireplace surrounds and mantels, wall paneling and wainscoting, coffered and beamed ceilings, crown molding and trim, entryways and door surrounds, columns and pilasters, and decorative room dividers. Each profile is milled to your detail and finished to match the room.
Whatever the brief, the engineering is the same: profiles that align around the room, mitered corners that stay tight, and millwork that reads as part of the architecture rather than applied to it.

Construction and Materials
Every profile is milled in-house from solid hardwood and veneered panel stock, in the species your design calls for — paint-grade poplar and MDF for a crisp painted finish, or walnut, white oak, and other hardwoods where the grain is meant to show. Profiles are cut to your drawing rather than adapted from a stock knife, so a fireplace surround, a panel mold, and a crown run all share the same detail.
Joinery is cut for the long run: mitered and coped corners, scarf joints on long molding runs, and returns that close cleanly into walls and ceilings that are never perfectly square. We scribe to the room on site so the finished work sits tight, with no caulk-filled gaps.
Finished in Our Own Spray Booth
Color is unlimited and the finish is entirely ours to control. From a dead-matte lacquer close to the wood, through every step of satin, to a polished high gloss — plus stain, glaze, and distressing — we mix and spray every millwork package in our own Deerfield Beach booth. Nothing leaves to be finished elsewhere.
Because finishing is in-house, color is matched to whatever you hand us: a paint chip, a stone slab, a wood sample — or the trim already in the room. The result reads as one considered surface, with a finish that is consistent across the whole room because one shop controlled it from start to finish.

We coordinate to your existing millwork, stone, and lighting so the new work looks original to the house.
