Drawn, Engineered, and Built in One Place

A built-in has to disappear into a room that already exists — out-of-square walls, existing trim, a ceiling that waves, and power and wire that have to land in exactly the right place. We solve all of that on paper first, then carry the piece through engineering, fabrication, finishing, and installation without it leaving the building. What we draw is what we scribe to the wall — level across the run, tight to surfaces that are never truly flat.

That single chain of authorship is why a Sunshine Alliance built-in still reads as part of the house years later. There is no fabricator handing off to an installer who has never met, and no second company to blame when a panel doesn’t meet the wall — one team draws it, builds it, and fits it.

From a Media Wall to a Home Library

We build built-ins of every kind: media walls and entertainment centers with concealed wire management and integrated lighting, home offices and built-in desks, libraries and display bookcases, living-room wall units, window seats and banquettes, and entry or mudroom storage. Each is scribed to the wall, level across the run, and finished to match the room.

Whatever the brief, the engineering is the same: doors and drawers that align across the whole run, tight reveals, and a built-in that reads as part of the house rather than furniture set against it.

Finished in Our Own Spray Booth

Color is unlimited and the finish is entirely ours to control. From a dead-matte lacquer close to the wood, through every step of satin, to a polished high gloss — plus stain, glaze, and distressing — we mix and spray every built-in in our own Deerfield Beach booth. Nothing leaves to be finished elsewhere.

Because finishing is in-house, the color is matched to whatever is already in the room — existing trim, the cabinetry next door, a wall color — so a new built-in looks like it was always there. On wood, we grain-match all the parts so the figure runs continuously across the whole wall.

A built-in works best when it reads as part of the house, so we engineer it into the architecture: matched to your existing trim and reveals, integrated with lighting and power, and scribed tight to walls and ceilings that are never perfectly square. We coordinate to your existing cabinetry and millwork so the new work looks like it was always there.
