Architectural millwork is the detail work that gives a home its character — the paneling, the coffered ceilings, the fireplace surrounds, the wainscoting, the beams, and the custom trim work that separates a finished interior from a truly designed one. At Sunshine Alliance, we design and fabricate all architectural millwork in-house at our Deerfield Beach facility, with the same CNC precision and quality of finish we bring to every product we manufacture.
Paneling, Wainscoting, and Wall Treatments
We build board-and-batten wainscoting, raised panel wall systems, shiplap installations, and full wall paneling configurations. Every panel is cut to exact dimensions, finished in our own spray booth to a uniform sheen, and installed with precision joints and tight reveals. The result looks like it was always part of the architecture — because it is designed to be.
We work in painted MDF, wood veneer, solid wood, and a range of profiles from simple contemporary reveals to richly detailed traditional molding patterns. Whatever the style of your home, we match it.
Coffered Ceilings and Ceiling Beams
A coffered ceiling transforms a room. We design and build coffered ceiling systems in any grid configuration — from simple two-direction grids to complex multi-depth patterns with integrated lighting. Every beam and panel is fabricated off-site and installed to align perfectly with your architecture.
We also build decorative ceiling beams, box beams, and exposed rafter details for both modern and traditional interiors. Wood species, finish, and profile are all custom to your specification. We coordinate with your electrician on recessed lighting and pendant drops built into the coffered structure.
Fireplace Surrounds and Mantels
A custom fireplace surround is one of the most visible millwork elements in any room. We design and build mantels, overmantels, and full floor-to-ceiling surround installations — from simple painted profiles to elaborate traditional compositions with fluted pilasters, carved details, and built-in cabinetry on either side. Every surround is built to the exact dimensions of your firebox opening and the proportions of your room.
Crown Molding and Trim
We manufacture and install custom crown molding, door and window casings, base molding, and built-up trim profiles for residential and commercial projects across South Florida. Our profiles can be matched to existing millwork or designed from scratch to complement new construction. Because we fabricate in-house, complex compound profiles and large-scale molding runs are executed precisely and installed consistently.
Entryways and Architectural Features
Custom entryway surrounds, arched openings, column enclosures, and decorative room dividers are all part of the architectural millwork we produce. If it is a wood or painted detail in your interior that defines the space, we can design it, build it, and install it. We work closely with your architect or interior designer to protect the integrity of the design through fabrication and installation.
